EVENING MEALS AVAILABLE AT THE CHATEAU

Every day, we invite our guests to enjoy a delicious candlelight dinner of traditional French cooking carefully prepared by the lady of the house with fresh local products.
Dinner is served in the garden (on the terrace) overlooking the valley (depending on the weather) or in the dining room. (Bookings are registered in the morning).

Candlelight dinner 48 € per person :
 
  1. Hors–d’œuvre (starter)
  2. Dish of the day
  3. Dessert
  4. A 75cl bottle of fine wine (for 2 pers.) (extra choice of bottled wines available)
  5. Coffee or herb tea
Examples of Hors–d’œuvre (1) (They change every day) :
  • Savoury black olive cake
  • ’’Tapenade’’ (Provençale aromatic caper and olive paste served on fresh or toasted bread)
  • ’’Caillette’’ (Provençal pie with savoury herbs)
  • Roquefort and walnut salad
Dish of the day examples (2) (They change every day) :

  • Duck breast in pepper sauce on a bed of mushrooms
  • Provençale aubergine ’’Moussaka’’
  • Slice of local lamb fried with ’mushrooms’ in parsley and garlic
